HR Business Advisor - About the role
Provide support as required to the HR Team to ensure the company fulfils its obligations under employment, health & safety and compliance legislation.
HR Business Advisor - Key duties
To provide generalist HR support to the business, where necessary on disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, maternity leave and performance management matters.
Build strong lasting relationship with the business and deliver an exceptional service
Review performance / attendance improvement plans
Ensure PDR's and relevant reviews are taking place in line with Company Policy
Represent HR at operational meetings
Review Bradford scores and advise in AIP's
To undertake project work and policy development work as directed and guided by the HRM.
To research and keep abreast of developments in employment legislation and case law, and be pro-active in ensuring that the team are briefed appropriately
Actively promote the company culture & values
To pro-actively identify, develop and implement improvements to systems and procedures to enhance service efficiency
Provide support where required on recruitment activity.
Act as the HR intranet champion, using the content management system to update and refresh information on the intranet, using own creativity and canvassing support from others to achieve this.
HR Business Advisor - Key requirements
* CIPD qualification desired but not essential
* Experience as a HR Generalist is essential
* Excellent IT skills including reporting and MI data collation
* Strong attention to detail
* The ability to travel to different offices by train or car
* Rapport building, organisation and mutli-tasking skills are required for the role
* The ability to prioritise your own workload in a fast-paced environment
* Experience of training and coaching people managers
* Competent in current employment law
