Winner Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator to join a leading manufacturer of vehicle cleaning products based in the Lichfield area. This is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing company within a successful team.

As the Purchasing Administrator you will be a vital part of the team and your duties and input are vital to the day to day running of the business.

The role is to cover maternity, so initially will be for a 6 month period.

Duties of the Purchasing Administrator will include:

Handle delivery and invoice queries with suppliers
Checking that suppliers have received all purchase orders, and they can meet the delivery requirements
Placing orders through the company system
Collecting data monthly re departmental performance monitors, tracking deliveries, savings and raw material price movements - all via EXCEL
Support the buyers with day to day purchasing administration tasks
Investigate and resolve delivery and invoicing discrepancies
Raise purchase orders and ensure suppliers can meet delivery requirements
Support with project work
Within this varied and interesting role you will liaise externally with suppliers and customers as well as interacting with all internal departments
You will be joining a well-established and committed team who pride themselves on the excellent relationships they have built internally and externally
The ideal Purchasing Administrator will have:

Experience within a similar role working within a procurement or distribution environment
The ability to managing and organising a busy work load
Excellent knowledge of Excel including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
A level Maths or a high grade in GCSE Maths
A full UK driving licence
The salary for this role is circa GBP21,000

Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm and 8.30am - 4.45pm on a Friday
