An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fantastic organisation located just outside of Burton as a Travel Consultant. This position is offered on a full time, permanent basis.

Working Monday to Friday, the main responsibilities within his role is to handle the complete travel consultation and sales process, from initial enquiry, through to final administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaising with customers over the telephone, dealing with enquiries and booking holidays
Using the 'in house' CRM system, loading customer information, quickly and accurately
Managing the sales consultation process from enquiry to booking, providing information relating to the customers requirements
Providing the pre-trip planning and logistical support for clients
Conducting post booking administrative tasks to ensure all bookings run smoothly

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, have previous travel experience and be comfortable with picking up new information.

Other skills required include being fully IT literate, adept at using MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

This role would suit someone who is a team player, a self starter and an excellent communicator, both on the telephone and via email and Live Chat.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of GBP18,000 pa plus an exciting monthly commission scheme.
