We here at GES are looking for an experienced resourcer or agency recruiter to join our team here in Coventry. You will need to have previous experience within recruitment or HR to be considered for this role.

In this recruitment role you will be responsible for:

Key activities and responsibilities
·Review the current recruitment strategy and processes with a view to implement more efficient procedures.

·Liaise with Line Managers to discuss vacancies and decide on most effective methods.

·Facilitate the recruitment process from initial vacancy placement to induction including, interviewing, assessment centres.

·Negotiate terms of conditions with suppliers and review on a regular basis.

·Proactive use of social media sites to advertise positions and develop relationships with potential candidates.

·Identify potential candidates on Linked IN and similar websites and approach directly for suitable roles.

·Advertising open positions

·Short listing CV's

·Conducting initial Telephone screening if required

·Supporting and training managers in interviewing techniques

·Developing job descriptions

·Benchmarking of key roles as and when required

·Development of interview questions

·Supporting managers with the recruitment and interview process as required

·Implementing the use of psychometric tests as part of the interview process for key roles

·Ensuring new employees receive all the relevant forms/information which facilitate their understanding of the policies, procedures and practices

•Actively engage in continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities are highlighted to your line manager.

•Demonstrate commitment to the core values of the company.

•Take a participative role in the company's sustainability initiative and ensure, where possible, your actions support the achievement of this initiative; reuse, recycle and replenish.

•Ensure compliance with all health and safety, corporate, client and legislative standards across the function.
Relationships
You will be required to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business.
Salary
This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary, dependent on experience.

We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.
Hours of work
A 37.5 hour week working Monday to Friday, typically between the hours of 8.30 - 5.00 (with one hour unpaid lunch).
Annual leave
Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
