This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking and dynamic organisation. In this role you will be responsible for producing conferences which meet the needs of my clients target markets and therefore generate revenue and profit. In this role you will undertake focused research, write compelling conference programmes, recruit speakers and run conferences on-site assuming ownership for the end to end process of running successful conferences.

Key tasks:

• Work with facilitators to produce innovative conference programmes through telephone research and reading

• To regularly engage in telephone conversations with senior executives and get them to register for events

• Gain a high-level understanding of the market

• Research and record competitive events

• Identify potential add-ons to provide incremental revenue

• Take a strategic view of the positioning of the conference

• Once secured facilitators/speakers brief the delegate team

• Ensure facilitators/speakers are briefed on the event format and session topic

• Manage facilitators/speakers administration and brief the event managers of the facilitators/speakers details so that they can follow up

• Take overall responsibility for the marketability of conference programmes

• Attend any external events to gain knowledge and content, where appropriate

• Liaise with sponsors to ensure their sessions fit into the agenda

• Negotiate speakers' expenses where (if) necessary

• Oversee design of the conference brochure ensuring key selling points are emphasized

• Manage workload to hit deadlines

• Working on several events at one time

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in Relationship Management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Excellent organisational and planning skills;

• The ability to research and deliver engaging proposals to the CEO;

• Attending events across EMEA, USA & beyond

Person Specification:

• Commercially minded and hungry for a successful career in sales

• A strong communicator with telephone experience

• Target driven, taking initiative and having entrepreneurial spirit

• Enthusiastic and energetic

• Adaptable and willingness to learn new things

• To work independently as well as in a close-knit team

• This role will require some international and regional travel, which may require weekend travel
