Mofor Care Solutions supports individuals with a variety of support needs including people with learning disabilities, autism, behaviour that can challenge, complex health needs, making a real difference to their lives. The Supported Living Manager is responsible for the day to day management and supervision of staff team, ensuring service delivery and enabling individuals to maximise their independence. You will oversee the support we provide in Birmingham.

What skills and qualities do I need to have?

* Previous Management experience within the Learning Disability sector, preferably also working with individuals who have complex health and mental health issues

* Managing the day to day running of the service, ensuring the needs of the service users are met

* Sound knowledge of CQC and experience of managing services which are governed by these regulations.

* Compiling, assessing, monitoring and reviewing person-centred support plans

* Sound understanding of supported living and how individuals with complex needs can be supported within this model

* Knowledge and experience of managing staff teams, developing talent and managing performance issues

* Personal qualities to be able to motivate staff members, develop leadership and delegate skills

* Good communication and administrative skills

* Ability and experience of working alongside Commissioners, Stakeholders, Regulators and other parties who are involved with a service

* Access to a car to use for work purposes
