Business Development Manager

National Role - Home Based - Location Flexible

B2B Nutrition is the trade sales and contract manufacturing arm of the Denis Brinicombe Group. An important vacancy has arisen for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the division to develop existing business, stimulate further growth and to diversify our interests within the ruminant, monogastric, aquaculture and equine nutrition markets.

Working from a home base, you will be responsible for the retention and development of existing and new business of both branded and private label sales throughout England, Scotland & Wales. You will seek out new opportunities across a diverse client base and build on the relationships that already exist. Supported by the Technical Department and reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will understand the manufacturing capabilities of the business and use this as a tool to maximise profitability.

You will be either in an established B2B role within the supply trade or have the enthusiasm and desire to take the next step on the career ladder. Managing your own time and diary, you will be responsible for margin achievement and net profitability by maximising customer facing meetings with efficient planning and organisation. You will shape the future of the division in line with the Groups business strategy and be a key decision maker. Although the role is GB based, some international travel may be required.

The basic salary range will be GBP40-GBP45k dependent on experience but flexibility exists for exceptional candidates. A bonus scheme will further reward on-target performance along with company car choice and contributory pension.
