Our client is an established, leading manufacturing/assembly business who are seeking a Contract / Operations Manager to service one of its major accounts. Based on the customer site in Stoke on Trent.
Your new role
Reporting to Directors you will provide contract management based on the customer site. You will work within a large fast paced distribution centre environment and be responsible for managing a large team to ensure that all orders are delivered to agreed to SLAs. You will undertake responsibilities within health & safety, quality, delivery, cost and continuous improvement. You will provide reports on monitored KPIs, support development of staff, manage expectations within the contract, support system audits and conduct staff meetings / appraisals.
What you'll need to succeed
This is a key position, you will be an excellent communicator, coach, mentor and leader with good knowledge of KPIs and data interpretation, along with excellent analytical skills. Experience of managing and leading staff is preferred along with experience of maintaining customer relationships, on site and a proven track record of driving productivity.
