About the role

The Digital Marketing Executive will predominantly lead the EU email marketing program however they will work across a diverse mix of digital marketing channels and projects, supporting the wider digital marketing team, as well as managing their own revenue generating initiatives. They will offer a local market viewpoint to ensure global marketing materials are relevant, timely and appealing to our audience.

Responsibilities include:

Working closely with the offline marketing & PR teams to ensure initiatives (including sponsorships, brand ambassadors, events, new collection launches and branded content) creative material and content are shared and opportunities maximised

Managing local market activity calendars in consultation with trading and creative teams

Leading the development, testing and localisation of our EU email program

Leading the digital marketing reporting process, to ensure initiatives are measured and optimised

Quickly building relationships, and maintaining contact with offline marketing & PR teams to ensure initiatives are maximised to deliver e-commerce revenue across all digital marketing channels

Having a finger on the pulse of events/celebrities/fashions/technologies that are important to our Claire's & Icing target audience so as to assist in the creation of top performing digital creative and content

Managing the planning/content calendar for our EU email program, offering creative ideas that are relevant and engaging for our audience

Regular in-region competitor analysis and reporting

Weekly and sometimes daily analysis of key initiatives via Google Analytics, Cheetah and other reporting software

Support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager for retention

About you

You will have:

Experience in a fast paced ecommerce business

Marketing campaign analysis and reporting

Email marketing

Copy writing and creative development

Social media

Project Management

Broad experience of the digital marketing mix

Sponsorship and event management

Strong Excel, Powerpoint & Google Analytics skills

An understanding of consumer behaviour principles
