A new opportunity has arisen for a proactive and flexible individual to join the Shrewsbury office and take on the role of administrator for the busy planning and architectural team

Administrator Responsibilities:

Opening and closing new files - paper copy and electronic
Typing of correspondence
Paper filing and electronic filing
Keeping databases up to date
Making appointments and co-ordination of electronic diaries
Answering of telephone calls for planning team
Typing up reports - audio typing desirable
Providing cover for other administration staff and assisting where necessary
Cover reception when required
Administrator Requirements:

Previous experience in an administrative position
Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
Experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate/advanced standard
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work unsupervised and be able to demonstrate initiative
The ability to liaise with clients and staff in a professional manner
Flexible, with a can-do attitude to tasks and hours
