HR Advisor

We are recruiting for a HR Advisor on behalf of our client based in the Birmingham area. As a HR Advisor you will be expected to assist HR duties and responsibilities as detailed below.

Details of a HR Advisor:

  • Hourly rate: GBP14.00ph
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Working hours: Full time - 9am to 5pm
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Duration: Temporary - until 1st February 2020

Duties and Responsibilities of a HR Advisor:

  • Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes
  • Covering tupe transfer, redundancy and restructuring
  • Provide first line advice for employees and managers
  • Manage talent and succession planning
  • Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals
  • Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary
  • Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial
  • Support change management processes
  • Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy
  • Support the recruitment process

Skills and Experience of a HR Advisor:

  • Experienced as a HR professional
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Must be able to cover tupe transfer, redundancy and restructuring
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team
  • Experience with using IT Systems and Microsoft Office packages
  • Computer Literate
  • Strong Communication Skills
