ReAssure are looking to recruit a dedicated Management Accountant to join our team within the Finance function. The position will preferably be based in Telford on a permanent basis. In this role as Management accountant, you will be responsible for production of accurate management accounts and the presentation of business performance to designated function heads/manager.

Key responsibilities include:

Responsible for introducing and providing business liaison/partnering support service to functions for the reporting of actuals and short term forecasting, and introducing a self service functional delivery model to relevant internal and external customers in all aspects of financial responsibility.

To deliver operational process improvement and change management within the department and across functionally.

Ensure service agreements are met by leading and developing finance relationships and managing resources. Responsibilities for working with functional teams to deliver operational financial challenge.

Ensure all job objectives are completed in accordance with the company's Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Governance culture.

Key skills/experience required:

  • Communicates effectively, including written and oral presentation, engaging customers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with an analytical and methodical approach to work
  • Ability to manage change within a team effectively, consulting and engaging others appropriately in the wider function and business.
  • Ability to apply specialist knowledge to improve processes.
  • Strong operational financial management skills
  • Strong skills in task management and process improvement.
