Location: West Midlands
Rate: GBP400 Per Day
Are you an experienced package manager looking for a new role or to take the next step in your career and have water experience? If so then we have an exciting opportunity for you with one of the major water contractors in the West Midlands area and this may be the project you are looking for.
Key areas of responsibility include:
o To liaise with design and delivery partners to ensure that the best Electrical solutions are selected and implemented
o Ensure technical input and expertise is best utilized
o Timely production of regular reports to the MEICA Manager and/or Whole Life Project Manager
o Responsible to produce and monitor electrical program and costs
o Production of tender documents for electrical elements
o Building and maintaining relationships with service delivery electrical maintenance technicians and Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) within the Client organization
o Providing reports and other briefings to service delivery on the electrical aspects of projects
o Liaison with the STW management team within both Capital Delivery and Service Delivery
o Active participation in the Client's COMM Cells
o Historical successful experience of THP and/or BtG projects is essential/highly desirable
o Knowledge and experience of the electrical engineering commensurate with the project scope
o Knowledge and experience of Severn Trent Water M&E standards and WIMES
o Management of electrical work scope through the Solution Pricing Stage
o Production of electrical tender documents, ensuring appropriate battery limits are set and that there are definitions of project success and/or completion.
HNC/HND in Engineering
Experience with the main contractor working on water and wastewater process engineering projects
