Logistics Administrator

Temporary role for approximately 2 months paying £10-£11.50ph

Role Purpose

To provide administrative support for the Commercial and Technical team; ensuring efficient resolution of transportation issues; processing of information/data into the Company's ERP system - placing of orders in IFS; confirming orders to the sales team; creation of part codes for IFS; enter incoming quotes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and finalising documents for logistics and deliveries
    -preparing and finalising customs documents
    -letters of credit - collating and checking to customer detailed information
    -communicating with Chamber, Embassy, Bank and Courier
    -notification for sales engineers and arrangement of deliveries
    -filing and attaching to various relevant data files
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure delivery dates are kept in line with the promised dates advised to customers
  • Arrange all UK and European deliveries, liaising with hauliers and sales team
  • Day to day management of various spreadsheets and databases
    -customs documents
    -delivery schedule
    -quote book
  • Enter incoming quotes, liaise with sales and record feedback
