The Opportunity

Location(s): Longport, Stoke-On-Trent

Areas Considered: Stoke, Crewe, Derby, Stafford, Shrewsbury

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Mig Welding
  • Plating
  • Tig Welding
  • Occasional MMA, Plasma, and Oxy/Propane
  • Working on mild steel and sometimes aluminium with plate thicknesses ranging from 1.6-12mm

  • Ability to work within a technical or specialist area of expertise in order to continuously improve quality ·
  • Considers problems as a challenge and able to identify and develop practical solutions, communicate the findings and implement action to resolve the problem.

Qualifications
  • English and Math's at GCSE, or equivalent, desirable.
  • Level 2 or 3 Welding qualification and/or Apprenticeship.
