As the IT Manager, your primary purpose is to provide 1st line support and to be responsible for the day-to-day running of the IT applications and infrastructure for the LLP business operations. You will be required to support and lead all development activities with new and existing business. To support system / process improvement with IT systems by gathering requirements, provide the business with potential solutions and manage the delivery through to completion. The IT Manager plays an active role in continuous improvement within the contract and within the It systems to drive savings and initiates. Furthermore, you will provide a strategic lead and coordination for this key account.

The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Coordination and execution of daily IT activity and IT implementation activity within business area and ongoing support
  • Delivery of customer and business unit IT requirements in line with DHL IT policies and procedures
  • Ensuring engagement of customer, business resources & delivery of results
  • Effective coordination of resources and communications
  • Daily IT activity and active execution of IT implementation activity including a hands on approach
  • To be actively involved in continuous improvement for the BU

  • Previous experience in Logistics or related field
  • Previous experience working with IT systems and IT Project delivery
  • Able to work under pressure of time and quality
  • Willingness to be actively involved in deployment.
