Accounts Administrator - Coleshill
09.00 - 5.00 with 30 minute unpaid lunch
20 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays
Small dog in office daily.

This is a full time position within a small family business undertaking all accounts related tasks using SAGE Business Cloud.

The candidate would need to be fully competent with Sage and have a good working experience of Excel, Word and other Microsoft applications.

Other administrative tasks may also need to be undertaken as and when required and a degree of flexibility would help to fit into the small, friendly team within the office.

The candidate would need to have their own transport due to the location just outside of Coleshill - No public transport options.

Credit Control

* Liaising with customers regarding overdue payments via phone call and email.
* Updating customer account activity.
* Setting up new customers and updating existing customer files.
* Reconciling customer payments.
* Inputting sales invoices onto Sage Business Cloud.

Purchase Ledger

* Matching incoming invoices to correct purchase orders and communicating internally or with suppliers with any queries.
* Inputting invoices correctly onto Sage Business Cloud.
* Processing and paying suppliers.


* Downloading the latest bank transactions and reconciling against Sage Business Cloud.
* Reconciling monthly paper statement to Sage Business Cloud records.

Ad Hoc

* Ensuring all paperwork is filed correctly.
* Ensuring daily post is recorded and distributed correctly.
* Managing engineer's gas bottle collections and returns.
* Preparing and submitting VAT return each quarter.
* Inputting monthly salaries onto Sage Business Cloud.
* Checking credit card receipts with paper statements and inputting onto Sage50.
* Ensuring costing data is checked and inputted into provided Excel spreadsheet.
