Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with an NVQ level 3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair and looking to make a move?

At Northgate our Vehicle Technicians work on the most recognisable brands out there, including Mercedes, Ford and Vauxhall. You'll have access to industry leading training, both in-house and via the different manufacturers we work with.

You'll work in a soon to be re-vamped workshop Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.30 plus 1 in 3 Saturday's 08.00 - 12.00, with a team that are passionate about the quality of their work. We're the future of vehicle rental, and we want you to be a part of it!

As a Motor Vehicle Technician for Northgate you'll carry out both electrical and mechanical work on a wide range of light commercial vehicles. You'll use our manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and repair any faults. You'll also carry out technical maintenance, repair and replace parts, as well as preparing our vehicles for MOT.

For you to be a success in this role all you'll need is to be technically trained or to be a time served mechanic that has worked in a similar environment or a dealership. You'll also need a full driving license and to be a team player and passionate about the needs of our customers.

So what's in it for you?

We're offering a competitive salary, as well as approved overtime at time-and-a-half, you'll also get a generous productivity bonus. You'll have access to an amazing training programme, both in-house and manufacturer provided, as well as insurance for your tools, 31 days holiday (Including Bank Holidays), company pension, life assurance as well as access to our new employee benefits scheme - Northgate Fuel. We're passionate about your development and we're proud that several our Workshop Managers and Controllers joined us "on the tools".

The industry is changing at a huge pace, and we want to be the ones leading it
