Estates Maintenance Assistant Required for Long Term Sick Cover

A leading provider in further education based in rural Shropshire, the estates team has a temporary vacancy for a maintenance assistant.
Your new role
Reporting to the Estates Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance across the complex campus. This will include pre planned maintenance tasks such as fire alarm and water testing. You will also complete minor repairs where required including joinery tasks, painting and decorating, lock changes, patch plaster work and grounds maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
No official qualifications are required, however a trade bias would be advantageous, alongside experience in a multi skilled maintenance role and a valid CSCS card. A full UK driving license is essential as well as UKATA Asbestos Awareness.
What you'll get in return
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week. This is a temporary role covering long term sick leave, rate does depend on your experience.
